About the Job

Position Overview

The study, "Effectiveness of an Online Parenting Training" seeks to learn if positive behavior supports in a short, online, program can help young kids (ages 3-8) and their parents. Parents will be referred to short, online supports by primary care providers, and they will then be invited to participate in the study to assess the program's effectiveness. Bilingual research team members and members with a variety of cultural experience are needed to call potential participants, explain the study, answer any questions, and help interested participants complete the informed consent process. Research team members will participate in three hours of training. They will then make phone calls to participants as needed (estimated one phone call per week, each call averaging 20 minutes), and participate in monthly research team meetings. In this role, research team members will serve as a cultural liaison, reviewing materials and methods for cultural relevancy and providing feedback to increase relevancy and accessibility.
