Job Description

Nurse Education and Training Assistant | NYC

Exciting Opportunity at MSK: The Nursing Education Department is looking for a Nurse Education Training Assistant to join their team! In this role, you will help to manage all administrative work related to the Department of Nursing professional development programs. You will have the chance to collaborate across the Department of Nursing to help coordinate workflows and meet departmental goals.

Role Overview:

    Coordinate all aspects of nursing professional development programs and work with conference planning to secure rooms and appropriate AV equipment and support
  • Work with all levels of nursing staff as related to professional development programs and activities
  • Maintain departmental records and sophisticated databases related to Resuscitation training, continuing education programs, and staff training/competencies.
  • Provide administrative support for the Director, Nurse Leader, and Nursing Professional Development Staff

Key Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree preferably in healthcare administration or a related field
  • Technical proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Experience in Saba Learning Management System or similar Learning Management Software is a plus

  • Detail-oriented in your approach: demonstrated in your work, correspondence and written communication.
  • A professional who is comfortable working closely with senior faculty and staff
  • An effective communicator, capable of determining how best to reach different audiences and driving communications based on that understanding.
  • Flexible in your approach and demeanor in order to align with the shifting demands of evolving circumstances.
  • Adept at crafting partnerships and working collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives and goals.
  • Capable of building strong customer relationships and delivering customer-centric solutions.
  • A good decision maker, with proven success at making timely decisions that keep the organization moving forward.
  • Action-oriented and eager to embrace new opportunities and tough challenges with a sense of urgency, high energy, and enthusiasm.

Additional Information:

  • Location: MSK Joy Building - 321 East 61st Street, New York, NY
  • Schedule: 9am - 5pm; Monday through Friday, some hybrid flexibility

Pay Range:

  • $25.65-$38.42
