Spend Management Consultant

Position Summary:

Direct Supply is building the future of healthcare technology with industry-leading products, solutions and platforms to help improve the lives of millions of seniors and those who care for them.

In the Spend Management Consultant position, you'll deliver and execute Professional Services to new and existing DSSI customers. These services will be in DSSI onboarding, supplier integration, formulary management, compliance processes, budget controls and more.

  • Have a basic understanding of standard procurement practices including GPO's

  • Intermediate Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

What You'll Do and Impact:

  • For new customers to DSSI, work in partnership with the DSSI Implementation Team in building the customer's DSSI site and appropriate work flows.

  • Consult, analyze and make recommendations to corporate customer's C-Suite leadership to integrate the appropriate supply chain on their DSSI site.

  • Work with the DSSI Procurement Services Category Analyst to identify and recommend optimization opportunities to the customer. Once approved work with internal teams to update formularies and appropriate controls to monitor compliance.

  • Work with the DSSI teams to facilitate the onboarding and training of all users onto the DSSI system.

  • Build and establish an approval process using the Approval Function in DSSI.

  • Standardize GL coding for the corporation with their Accounting department.

  • Work with the corporation's finance department to implement Budget Control on DSSI.

  • Promote the One Direct Supply value and create opportunities across DSI. Meet with customers on a predetermined schedule to deliver results of the program and establish the ongoing roadmap for Procurement Services.

Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree

  • 5+ years of supply chain and procurement experience

  • Ability to travel by car and/or plane up to 50%

  • Valid, unexpired driver's license with satisfactory driving record

  • Experience working with cross-functional teams

Additional Items of Interest:

  • Experience working in the long term healthcare profession
