Nissha Medical Technologies is looking to hire a Business Analyst to join our growing team in Buffalo, NY!

The Business Analyst will have the primary responsibility to support business applications utilized across Nissha Medical Technologies global sites. You will work closely with the core Oracle implementation team, IT team and other partners, both internal and external, to help deliver high-quality solutions on time maximizing the utilization of software. The successful candidate will act as a liaison between the technical team and business user community.

Essential Job Functions

1. Bridge the gap between business and technical solutions by collecting business needs, completing discovery sessions with business partners, documenting and translating needs to clear business requirements.

2. Maintain business requirements throughout the delivery cycle, incorporating any changes to scope or changing needs as they arise.

3. Act as an interface between the business and IT team throughout the delivery life cycle.

4. Support/ complete system configuration as needed for implementations, issues, or other application maintenance activities.

5. Follow documentation and change management guidelines established within the organization to ensure business application changes are approved/ controlled.

6.Support the resolution of issues reported by the business working with either internal partners or externally with an outside support organization (such as a vendor).

7. Participate in multiple initiatives simultaneously - including site implementations, new module rollouts, enhancement requests, and/or incident investigations.

8. Responsible for development and maintenance of test scripts ensuring delivery of business needs while capturing any artifacts supporting testing.

9. Perform software testing for business applications and work with the appropriate team(s) to resolve findings.

10. Continue to build upon application knowledge and develop/maintain SME level knowledge within the assigned applications/ modules.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college with a degree in Project Management, Business or Public Administration, Computer Science, Communications, or a related field
  • Experience writing business requirements and business process mapping for multiple business functions
  • Experience in execution of software testing and development of test plans/cases
  • Requires five or more years of relevant experience as a business analyst, business systems analyst, or systems project manager
  • Ability to initiate, maintain, and develop relationships
  • Some international and domestic travel is required



Preferred:

  • Experience with Oracle Fusion, ROBAR, or RFGen is a plus
  • Functional business experience in areas of distribution, manufacturing, supply chain, sales, and finance operations is a plus
  • Prior system development and package implementation experience using a formal methodology (SDLC, Agile, etc.)
  • Project management and system integrator vendor management experience

  • Knowledgeable about key business processes across financials, supply chain, and human resource organizations
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Flexibility in assuming additional duties not outlined in the essential job functions
  • Embraces challenges, remains positive


Pay Range: $75,000 - $100,000

Pay is dependent on multiple factors, including job related knowledge, skills and experience.
