Senior Director of Development Development Full Time 82520BR Job Summary The Senior Director of Development occupies a key position in UCSF's Development and Alumni Relations (UDAR) and in the School Development team. He/she will manage a comprehensive fundraising program and manage fundraising staff comprised of both professionals and related administrative support. In collaboration with the Executive Director, School Development, the Senior Director of Development provides strategic leadership and oversight of the major and principal gifts program for the School of Dentistry and Pharmacy. He/she provides guidance to team members to achieve goals in accordance with established policies and partners with university leaders, faculty/physicians, staff, and volunteers to grow philanthropic support. The Senior Director of Development reviews and approves recommendations for functional programs, and manages personal donor/prospect portfolio. He/she serves as a leadership thought partner for the School Development team. Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. For positions that are represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range will be guided by the rules in the collective bargaining agreement. The salary range for this position is $153,000 - $232,200 (Annual Rate). In raising private support, UDAR identifies, qualifies, solicits and stewards donors for the schools, medical centers, departments and programs on campus; accepts and administers all private gifts to the university through The Regents or the UCSF Foundation; and manages all alumni relations activities, campus support group activities and campus events. The UDAR office staffs the UCSF Foundation. The office is also responsible for the design and implementation of fundraising campaigns for UCSF Required Qualifications
