Responsibilities

  • Perform quality echocardiographic diagnostic imaging to support quality patient care.
  • Perform quality cardiac testing procedures such as Exercise Stress Testing, Holter Monitoring Scanning, and Pacemaker checks to support quality diagnosis & treatment of patients.
  • Contribute to the professional development of team members and provide monitoring and mentoring of students to ensure proper training in assisting patients, families, and staff.
  • Communicate effectively with patients about the procedure to obtain information and to offer reassurance.

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

  • Associate's Degree; may substitute degree for graduation from an accredited school of Echocardiography Technology.
  • CPR/BLS Certification

Preferred Job Requirements:

  • Prior experience with cardiology procedures
  • One-year experience in Echocardiography in a comparable healthcare setting.
