Job Objective: As the Sports League Coordinator you will plan, organize, coordinate and direct diverse athletic and recreational programs for youth and adults. Evaluate new sports programming opportunities for the Kroc Center, instruct coaches and officials on techniques, rules, and regulations; and serve as liaison to the recreation community to promote goodwill for the Kroc Center ensuring that the Mission of The Salvation Army is effectively carried out. What You Will Do:
Minimum Qualifications: The requirements listed below are representative of the minimal education, experience, skills, and/or abilities required for this position. Education: Bachelor's degree in sports management, recreation, or a related field preferred. Equivalent combinations of education and experience which, at the sole discretion of The Salvation Army, provide the knowledge, skills and abilities to perform in this role, will be considered Background Checks: Position requires a background check to be completed, and all background check results will be reviewed. Experience: 2+ years of experience in sports league management, recreation, or program coordination preferred Certifications: Must have a valid driver's license and maintain The Salvation Army Driver's qualification standard; must complete Safe From Harm and CPR Certification within the first 30 days of employment Skills/Abilities:
