Summary:

Reports to the Manager of Budget and Cost and is responsible for managing all assignments associated with the operating expense performance of the institution. This person will serve as the primary liaison for budgeting, variance analysis, cost accounting, financial accounting, decision support projects, and other functions as assigned.

Requires an established track record of utilizing managerial, communication, and analytical skills to plan and implement problem-solving approaches for audiences at varying skill and experience levels.

Requires a comprehensive understanding of budgeting, cost accounting procedures, and systems; high levels of proficiency in the finance/accounting area; and working knowledge of PC-based software applications (Microsoft, SAP, EPSi preferred) are needed to manipulate and analyze available data.

Requires a substantial level of interpersonal skills to be able to interact with employees at all levels of the organization and to regularly interact in discussions and meetings to provide financial information to management and other staff.

Education and Work Experience: Requires a Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Healthcare Administration, or another related field. MBA/MHA and/or CPA (preferred)

Requires a minimum of five years of experience in finance, preferably in a healthcare setting.

Salary Range: Minimum $33.40 per hour - Maximum $55.16 per hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
