Job Description
Technologist: The Clinical Laboratory Scientist is responsible for the analysis of laboratory specimens and subsequent result reporting according to laboratory protocol and procedures. This position performs requested clinical procedures on body fluids and clinical procedures related to patient care; performs quality control maintenance and troubleshooting on laboratory instruments, performs clerical work in the absence of a technical assistant and assist the manager in any capacity requested. This position performs tracking for specimens coming to the department and helps with the send outs to reference laboratories and receive and approve same results. Technician: The Clinical Laboratory Technician is responsible for the processing and analysis of specimens and subsequent result reporting according to laboratory protocol and procedures. This position performs requested clinical procedures on all types of specimens requiring testing performed in a moderate complex testing laboratory. Responsibilities
