Department Information
The Georgia Tech Athletic Associate (GTAA) sponsors varsity intercollegiate athletics competition in 17 NCAA Division I sports for the Georgia Institute of Technology. We are a proud member of the Atlantic Coast Conference. Steeped in history and success while embracing strategic innovation, our programs compete at the highest level and strive for national championships. Job Summary

Provide service to customers for tickets to Georgia Tech athletic events to include operation of automated ticketing systems, responding to customer inquiries, maintaining associated records, coordinating ticketed admissions, managing secondary marketing efforts and overseeing overall sales and revenue strategy for all ticketed sports. Responsible for setting employee goals, assessing employee performance and providing feedback, and making pay recommendations. Responsibilities

Job Duty 1 -
Manage ticket sales and related Tech Fund for all ticketed sports, and the day-to-day operation of all aspects of the Georgia Tech Athletic Association ticket office, including staffing and operating budgets. Manage ticketing for all Georgia Tech ticketed sports including home, away, post-season, and neutral site games.

Job Duty 2 -
Create and deliver regular sales and retention training programs for ticket office staff. Create accurate sales reports and related analytics for decision making purposes.

Job Duty 3 -
Manage ticketing relationship with external 3rd party ticket/revenue vendor.

Job Duty 4 -
Administer contracts with ticket platform as well as other related operational partners.

Job Duty 5 -
Assist in the development and execution of action plans for revenue-generating fan experience partnerships.

Job Duty 6 -
Work with Institute constituents for Homecoming, Family Weekend, Commencement, and other key campus events.

Job Duty 7 -
Implement and manage strategic plan, integration of sales staff, annual fund, and ticket operation teams.

Job Duty 8 -
Plan and implement ticket broker plan. Negotiate and oversee contracts with ticket service providers and other third party vendors/partners.

Job Duty 9 -
Plan and implement secondary marketing plan driving revenue lift.

Job Duty 10 -
Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

Educational Requirements
Bachelor's Degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Required Experience
Eight to ten years of job related experience

Preferred Qualifications

Preferred Experience
Experience using Paciolan ticketing software.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

SKILLS
This job requires working knowledge of box office operations, related customer service and sales. Knowledge of ticketing software and office related computer applications is required.
