The Quality Control Technician will support the Quality Control department during the manufacture and release of Bio-Rad injection molded products. As a Quality Control Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring that all products meet the required specifications and quality standards before they are shipped to customers.

You will work closely with the production team to identify and resolve any quality issues, conduct regular inspections, and maintain detailed records of your findings. Your role will be crucial in maintaining our reputation for high-quality products and ensuring customer satisfaction. You will also be responsible for staying up-to-date with training and best practices, and continuously seeking ways to improve our quality control processes.

This position is on the 2rd shift 2pm - 10:30 pm Monday through Friday. This position is eligible for Shift Pay Differential.

How You'll Make An Impact:



  • Conduct regular inspections of injection molded products ensuring all products meet required specifications and quality standards.
  • Identify and resolve quality issues in collaboration with the production team.
  • Maintain detailed records of inspection activities and results accurately following good documentation practices (GDP).
  • Monitor and analyze quality data to identify trends.
  • Communicate quality issues and resolutions to management.
  • Support new product development with quality input.


What You Bring:



  • Education: High School Diploma. Specialized training in metrology, inspection and quality assurance preferred.
  • Work Experience: Minimum of 3 years experience in injection molding quality inspection or equivalent.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and quality control standards.
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Strong problem solving skills.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and part of a team.
  • Proficiency in using inspection tools and equipment.
  • Knowledge of statistical process control (SPC) methods.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Commitment to continuous improvement.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, and SAP.

Compensation: The estimated base salary range for this position is $54,000 to $74,300 at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be provided in writing at the time of offer, if applicable, and is based on several factors we believe fairly and accurately impact compensation, including geographic location, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and other job permitted factors. This position is eligible for a variable annual bonus, which is dependent upon achievement of your individual objectives and Company performance.
