REGISTERED NURSE-RN

Talbott Recovery is currently looking for a PRN Registered Nurse-RN for our Dunwoody location. Qualifications

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Completes medical screening and/or assessment of new clients upon admission according to level of care procedures.
  • Monitors medication process for individuals, including supervision of medication distribution, supervising self-administration process.
  • Prepares Medication Administration Record (MAR).
  • Provides on-going consumer education (group and individual) regarding medications.
  • Implements and monitor procedures for random urine drug screens to ensure that each individual is screened as appropriate.
  • Ensures that test results are documented in medical file and with patient's clinician.

Education and Experience

  • Unencumbered State of Georgia RN License.
  • CPR Certified
  • Experience working in psychology/psychiatry or Addiction preferred
