Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Salesforce Business Analyst, Product Management and Delivery to support the Defense Innovation Unit's Commercial Operations Team (CommOps) reporting to the Secretary of Defense. DIU's Commercial Operations is dedicated to fostering innovation and collaboration among DoD Mission Partners, Academia, Industry, new ventures & entrepreneurs, private capital investors, and other national security stakeholders to solve some of the most complex challenges facing the nation. This role involves working closely with various stakeholders to understand their needs, translating those needs into Salesforce solutions, and ensuring that the platform's utilization is optimized. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing complex business needs, designing solutions, implementing Salesforce features, and providing ongoing support and training.

The candidate must be creative and enjoy working within an entrepreneurial environment, with exemplary time management skills and the ability to identify, anticipate, and fulfill needs. The ideal individual will have the ability to exercise good judgment in a diversity of situations, with excellent written and verbal communication, analytical, administrative, and organizational skills, and the ability to maintain a realistic balance among multiple priorities and equities in a high-tempo environment serving NSIN and DIU's mission.
The successful candidate will build ongoing rapport and interact seamlessly and with a professional demeanor across a broad range of individuals including members of the Senior Management Team, government contractors, Federal civilian and military employees, and cross-government stakeholders. The role is expected to handle exquisitely highly sensitive, confidential, and institutional information while exercising professionalism and discretion.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Evaluate complex business processes, anticipate requirements, uncover areas for improvement, and develop and implement solutions.
* Lead ongoing reviews of business processes and develop optimization strategies.
* Stay up-to-date on the latest process and Salesforce platform advancements to automate and modernize systems.
* Perform, evaluate, and communicate detailed requirements on Salesforce project initiatives.
* Translate business requirements into Salesforce solutions.
* Ensure solutions meet business needs and requirements.
* Manage a broad range of Salesforce tasks including configuration, customization, implementation, and support.
* Act as a liaison between different stakeholders to ensure that both business and technical perspectives are taken into account.
* Manage system testing and deployment activities to ensure high performance and functionality.
* Prepare and present reports to stakeholders on the status of Salesforce projects.
* Work closely with the Salesforce team to design and implement enhancements and make recommendations on Salesforce solutions.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

* Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field.
* Proven experience as a Salesforce Business Analyst or in a similar role, preferably in a government or highly regulated environment.
* Strong understanding of Salesforce's capabilities and limitations.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent stakeholder management skills.
* Strong business strategy and execution skills.
* Understanding of customer impacts, financial impacts.

* Create training content and train users.
* Strategic understanding of business problems that Salesforce can address.

ADDITIONAL QUALIFYING FACTORS:

Must have a satisfactory background screening, negative drug test, positive references and proof of identity and legal authorization to work in the United States and for TTI are required.
