About the Role: The Sr. Tax Research & Content Analyst is responsible for research, configuration, ongoing maintenance, enhancements, and testing to ensure that ONESOURCE applications and offerings comply with tax rules and laws in complex and demanding tax jurisdictions. Major Responsibilities / Accountabilities:
Represent Tax Research & Content effectively as a subject matter expert/project point person on projects and initiatives Develop training materials and provide training/mentoring to Tax Research & Content Associates and Analysts Research, analyze, interpret, and document tax laws and regulations over a wide range of industries in complex and demanding jurisdictions Anticipate and assess the impact of proposed regulatory developments to stay ahead of changes in laws and regulations impacting applications Model and implement support for new tax regimes; implement content changes; complete work within prescribed content deadlines Design and execute test scenarios to ensure content accuracy, functionality, and usability Correspond with tax authorities on complex and contradictory matters Research, respond, and resolve client issues in partnership with Customer Support Contribute to the development of requirements for tax application features and functionality in partnership with Product Management Provide recommendations on complex geospatial, tax, and legal issues; understandably communicate issues to non-tax/GIS professionals

About You Essential Skills:
Minimum 5 years of indirect tax experience; 2+ years of tax calculation and compliance software (e.g. ONESOURCE) experience Experience communicating with technical and non-technical stakeholders Detail-oriented with an aptitude for analysis and problem-solving including the ability to interpret, analyze, and organize detailed legal material Ability to utilize online research tools (e.g. Checkpoint, Tax Analysts, WestLaw, etc.) Ability to consistently meet rigid and recurring deadlines Superior written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to write white papers on tax and/or technical subjects Superior organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks Intermediate to advanced software skills (e.g. Microsoft Excel, Word, Access) Ability to work and learn independently with minimal supervision Written and spoken fluency in English
Desired Skills:
Experience working for a public accounting firm or corporate tax department Determination only - Industry-specific tax experience (e.g. Leasing, Hospitality) Fluency in languages other than English
Education/ Certifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Tax/Accounting/Finance is required JD, LLM, MBA or CPA/Chartered Tax Adviser and/or focus of study in geography, information systems, computer science, or related field preferred

Thomson Reuters complies with local laws that require upfront disclosure of the expected pay range for a position. The base compensation range varies across locations.
For any eligible US locations, unless otherwise noted, the base compensation range for this role is $72,100 - $133,900.
This role may also be eligible for an Annual Bonus based on a combination of enterprise and individual performance.
Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual's knowledge, skills and experience with consideration given to internal equity. Base pay is one part of a comprehensive Total Reward program which also includes flexible and supportive benefits and other wellbeing programs.
