Role Summary

As the Senior Program Manager, Sales Operations you will lead the charge in creating and implementing programs, processes, and systems in response to big ideas, complex business challenges, and the evolving needs of the Sales organization.

You will be one Rivian's key builders in this department, creating programs that adapt to each project's specific needs, ranging from rapid deployments to detailed and finely tuned. You will develop effective problem-solving relationships across the organization, collaborating closely with supporting partners and communicating effectively at all levels, including senior leadership is crucial.

You thrive on tackling new challenges and establishing organizational frameworks amidst uncertainty. You will approach complex problems with enthusiasm and a spirit of collaboration, ensuring clear communication of progress, requirements, and standards.


Responsibilities

  • Anticipate business needs, react rapidly, and create effective frameworks that organize Rivian's response
  • Document procedures, policies, timelines, and create SOPs that provide a source of truth for team members
  • Effectively communicate program timelines, progress, and challenges to a broad audience, including senior and executive leadership
  • Create an environment of collaboration and capture, prioritize, align, and launch programs and initiatives
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with programs; offer proactive solutions to potential challenges
  • Establish a constructive feedback loop between the sales team and stakeholders to enhance continuous improvement and program effectiveness
  • Facilitate meetings and project workstreams to collect requirements and updates to drive progress
  • Engage field stakeholders and program counterparts to harmonize operations whenever necessary
  • Steer development of internal tools, including Salesforce
  • Collaborate closely with Analytics teams to develop dashboards and other visualization tools to facilitate business management

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience with Sales Programs
  • Salesforce experience required
  • Deep knowledge of customer pipeline and workforce management
  • Expert at process development in fast-paced, ambiguous environments
  • Strong communicator across all levels, including Field Sales, partners, and executives
  • Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects concurrently
  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • PMP Certification preferred
  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 20%

Pay Disclosure

Salary Range/Hourly Rate for California Based Applicants: $98,500 to $110,100 (actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law)

Benefits Summary: Rivian provides robust medical/Rx, dental and vision insurance packages for full-time employees, their spouse or domestic partner, and children up to age 26. Coverage is effective on the first day of employment, and Rivian covers most of the premiums. "
